Song Photo
"Technicolor Eyes"

i like saturdays and the rocket summer.
blue skies and the morning's air.
i like you, you like me.
there's something wrong with this picture. let's turn it upside down so we can see.
the insecurities caused by the last four years of economic downsizing in the eastern us.

i like february along with tilly and the wall.
pretty pictures and shirts that are too small.
for my child-like figure that you're so in love with.

i like the autumn's leaves and bright eyes.
eternal sunshine of the spotless mind.
stands strong in my favorites of all time.
along with you and your technicolor eyes.

you say johnny cash is your favorite singer.
but you've never heard folsom prison blues.
how do you expect me to believe you. i was never much on country songs but.
someone should really tell you to come home.
'cause it's getting (awfully) late.
and your dinner's getting cold.

i like simple songs with pretty words. i tried poetry, but it's just no good.
the pages get lost, besides i'd much rather sing to you.
i love living life with you by my side.
you're a smart kid with a beautiful smile.
and oh god those technicolor eyes.

i like saturdays and the rocket summer.
night skies and that lovely stare.
i like you, you like me.
so lets lock all the doors.
there's nothing outside we need to see.
'cause we've got love. yeah we've got a tv we can watch "Friends" all we want.
and we can laugh at how i laugh like Ross when i get nervous.
and we don't have to worry about tomorrow.
because we know it's gonna come.
whether we want it to or not

"Misguided Ghosts"

I am going away for a while
I'll be back don't try and follow me
I'll return as soon as possible
See I'm tryin' to find my place
It might not be here where I feel safe
We all learn to make mistakes,

And run from them
From them
With no direction
We'll run from them
From them
With no conviction

I'm just one of those ghosts
Traveling endlessly
Don't need no roads
In fact they follow me
And we just go in circles

Now I'm told that this is life
Pain is just a simple compromise
So we can we get what we want out of it
Someone care to classify
Broken hearts and twisted minds
So i can find, someone to rely on,

And run to them to them
Full speed ahead
Oh you are not Useless
We are just Misguided ghosts
Traveling endlessly
The ones we trusted the most
Pushed us far away
And there's no one road
We should not be the same
I'm just a ghost
And still they echo me
They echo me in circles.

Portraits

Sara Nicholson Karly Olson
For my 2 portraits I wanted them to be different kinds of mood or feeling. So for Sara's photo, i had her smiling and acting happy. The lighting and bright colors makes that feeling of the photo also. I increased the saturation, changed the exposure, and brightened her eyes in saras portrait.
For Karlys picture, I wanted there to be a more serious kind of feeling. So i didnt really have her do my with her facial expressionssons so I could get that mood. The dull colors and blured backround also add to the effect of the mood. I sharpened this photo, changed the exposer, and also brightened her eyes.

Repulsive Photos

Attractive Photos

For this projest we needed to take 2 pictures of attractive photos as well as 2 repulsive photos.
  • I chose to take a picture of a dead fish besause to most people that is very repulsive. Although, when you look at the photo, the colors of the fish are acctualy quite pretty which can change this to an attractive photo. I played with saturation and exposers in this photo.
  • My sister and I found a small crab leg on the beach and I think that finding just a leg of one is repulsive. So, I took a photo of my sister holding it. I sharpened this picture a little and also changed the exposure.
  • For my first attractive photo, I took a pictue of the beach when the waves were crashing on to the sand. Also i liked how bright the sun was that day so it made the water look really pretty. I changed the saturation and also the exposer on this photo.
  • And my last photo, I found a seashell that had been washed up on to the sand and I took the photo from angle below the shell. I think the colors in the sand are really pretty and I love how the shadow of the seashell was captured in the photo. I sharpened this photo and also used color burn.
